FAQ TEST

Why should I/or my child take swim lessons year-round?

The benefits of cardiovascular activity and aerobic exercise are immense. According to the American Heart Association, physical activity will improve your overall quality of life. This notion is shared among most health institutions. Although learning how to swim is considered as a safety precaution for preventing a series of accidents when in or around water, swimming has been scientifically tested to improve one’s well-being because it is part of a complete exercise regimen.

How long are classes?

The Club offers lessons, training, and practices based on skill level and age. All of our Parent & Child Aquatics, Pre-School Aquatics, Aquatic Athletic Training and Private classes are limited to 30 minutes in order to maximize the participant’s attention and ability to learn. Generally, our Learn to Swim I is also limited to 30 minutes, however, exceptions can be made based on age and progression pace. LTSII is available in both 30 minute and 1 hour options. All group Adult LTS, Intermediate LTS, Advanced LTS, and Team Prep practices are available for 1 hour.

Skills Evaluations aren't available in our account, why?

Swimmer Skills Evaluations are only available for students taking more than 5 classes.

What are Makeup Tokens?

Each student is guaranteed ONE makeup per semester, this makeup is scheduled during the last week of the semester at the same initial scheduled class time. each student is allowed two additional makeups (1 per month) during each semester. These may be reserved based on our class availability but are not guaranteed, it is important to choose a class schedule that best works for you to ensure the student attends every class.

Specific instructors or class/practice times are based on availability

A minimum of 1 makeup token is automatically applied to each student after missing a class. Tokens expire at the end of each month and cannot roll over to the next month or any other students. Failure to request absences at least 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeited makeup token, including the final makeup of the semester.
