Parent & Child Aquatics

PCA I & II

|Ages 18M-4Y|

As an introduction to the aquatic environment, being comfortable at a young age is the stepping-stone for your child to gain the maximum knowledge from what the water has to offer as they grow. In our Baby & Me (Parent Child Aquatics) class, becoming comfortable in and around water isn’t our only focus, but familiarizing children with swimming readiness skills. They’ll be introduced to learning appropriate body positioning on both front and back while building skills such as a consistent kick, reach and pull, and proper face submersion where songs and games aren’t always the focus. Parents will learn the best positions to hold their child while keeping them comfortable as they learn. Although rubber duckies may be considered as toys, you’d be surprised what your child can learn from them, all while in the comfort of your own arms!
